EXCELLENT STORE AND STAFF!! Recently, we were lucky enough to obtain our new furry family member, Ozzy the Skunk! The customer service was top tier from the beginning of the process until the end. They make you feel welcome and they make the paperwork simple. I believe the name of the staff member that helped me was named Miya and the manager/owner was very friendly and hospitable. All of the animals were in clean exhibits and the store was very nice! Much appreciated!!

I’ve been meaning to write this review because New Jersey Exotic Pet Shop truly deserves it. As a first-time bearded dragon mom, I walked in knowing very little. Thanks to Kevin and the entire team, I’ve learned so much about proper husbandry, nutrition, lighting, and overall care. They’re incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer every question. This has become my go-to pet shop 3–4 times a week. Their selection of live feeders is unmatched, From crickets, dubia roaches, hornworms, superworms, mealworms, black soldier fly larvae, and just about every insect you could need. Everything is clean, healthy, and exceptionally well-maintained. You can immediately see the quality, and that gives me confidence that I’m feeding my beardie the best. If you own reptiles or exotic pets, I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, Kevin and the entire team for your support and care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience getting my ball python, Draco! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, but I especially want to thank Kevin. He provided outstanding customer service, took the time to answer all of my questions, and made sure I felt confident about bringing Draco home. You can tell he genuinely cares about the animals and his customers. Thanks to Kevin and the team for such a smooth and positive experience. I highly recommend this pet store!

I brought my students here today. It was a wonderful time. Megan was always so accommodating from the first time I spoke with her. She was enthusiastic about us coming. She shared such great information about the animals to my students. The animals were so friendly. It was such a great experience. I will definitely be bringing my students next year!

We have been coming to NJ exotics since 2023 when we got our 1st baby dragon, we’ve gotten 2 more since then. I probably have 10 pet stores in my surrounding area but I choose to take the 50min round trip there. They are all super knowledgeable and always friendly, they also have paint parties and a pet show which is always fun and cool for kids! Megan was the first employee we met and she is simply the best. I also love that they board pets. I hate leaving my babies but knowing how well they are cared for when I have to leave them makes me feel better about it. I will continue to come here for any and all of my dragons needs!! You have a great group of people working there and happy to give you my business!!
